I have created my website in freewebs.com. I am still in the process, but I have managed to link my blog, as well as some other sites that I believe would be beneficial. Am I going about it the right way? I would appreciate some feedback. I am not sure how to market myself, so any suggestions would be appreciated!!
As far as manipulating the site, it was pretty easy to navigate.

My website is in the upper right hand corner of my blog. I went through the steps of linking it to this post, but apparently I did something wrong!! I'm not as savvy as Dawn and her big, blue dragon!!

Great Start Chrissy!!! I'll share more feedback a bit later. K
I started fiddling with iWeb today, but I have to give mine more thought before I publish...I thought we were going to be given an example of a professional website? The only one I've seen is posted on Rachel's blog. I'm not sure if that gave me a solid idea of what our website should be like? But I have to say that this is more challenging than I supposed (not the technology). The thought process behind the creation of a website, which combines text with visuals and maybe even audio is foreign, but really very fun!
Thanks, Chrissy!

I have few examples of teacher websites.
One can find many examples of professional web sites by searching the internet on a "profession" of interest.
The iWeb template is pretty basic. It doesn't allow a whole lot of leeway in "design." That's good for beginners!
You have created a great website! I love the links you have included, and I added a couple of them to my favorites so that I can explore them later. I didn't think about adding external links to valuable sites. Great job. I also like what you have to say on your home page.
Chrissy-
Great website! I love everything about it. I love that the main pages are an open book. And I really like the links you have up. They cover everything that interests you or that we've discussed in class. Teenreads.com looks like a great class. I might have "borrow" some of your links. hahaha...but seriously they really helped me know what you're interested in and what kind of things you'll be implementing in your classroom. : )
